About A Word Fitly Written
It is said that a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. Perhaps it could also be said that words fitly written are like leaves of gold in bindings of silver. The written word is indelibly impressed, not in one ear and out the other, as spoken words that often fade and are soon forgotten.
There is a lot being written these days. Thousands, perhaps millions, of people have blogs and websites, or are self-publishing their own books. The amount of information to be read, browsed, and studied is overwhelming…and more is being added every day.
But what really is being said? Is it a shout out? Or is it something of substance? Meaningful and heartfelt. Something written with purpose, that has the power to make a positive difference in the life of the reader?
Bonita’s goal, as writer and editor, is to enable you to write something that stands out … words hat paint pictures, create images, tell stories, give meaning.
Everyone has something to say. Maybe you don’t know yet what you want to say, or how you want to put it. Or maybe it’s all in your head but you have a hard time getting it written down. Perhaps you have written a hundred thousand words, but you don’t know the grammatical difference between “effect” and “affect.”
Bonita will help you create “A Word Fitly Written,” enabling your novel, website, or memoir to remain in the heart of the reader. About Bonita Jewel
Bonita Jewel has been reading since she was 2 ½, although she occasionally takes breaks to fix another cup of chai. She loves writing and after having suppressed the desire for a number of years, finally succumbed to the sheer joy of forming concepts and stories on paper. Since that time, she has developed outlines for nearly 50 novels and 25 non-fiction books. Her first novel is nearly complete, and the characters for the other stories are clamoring in her head for the right to be next on the written page.
Bonita lived in India for 12 years, involved in social and mission work. Her home is now in California, where she lives with her husband and three children. She is a freelance writer and editor and enjoys blogging on a variety of themes including parenting, writing, and purpose.
